TOPTASI ASYLUM
It was established by the order of Nurbanu Sultana the mother of Sultan Murad III, in 1583. The third asylum of Istanbul was also known as “Bimarhanei Validei Atik”. Later the building was used as the cavalryman barracks during the reign of Sultan Selim III.
