Another name of the Hacı Özbek Mosque, which was built in 1334 in İznik, is
Carsi Mescidi. The mosque has one dome with three arches, and a community room covered by
vault. The dome is made out of bricks. Downstairs’ windows are built from bricks and
their arches are sharpened. Hoop windows are made up of wood lintel. |
