Don and
Volga Rivers are in western Russia. They rise from the plateau near Novomoskovsk in the
central parts of Russia, and flow through the east of this plateau in a woodland through
the south. Don, is cast to Azak Sea from Taganrog Gulf.
After the construction of the Don – Volga Channel, which
is 100 km long (1952), the huge water channels, connecting the Black Sea to Hazar Sea,
Baltik Sea and White Sea has been completed.
