The DON and VOLGA RIVERS

Don and Volga Rivers are in western Russia. They rise from the plateau near Novomoskovsk in the central parts of Russia, and flow through the east of this plateau in a woodland through the south. Don, is cast to Azak Sea from Taganrog Gulf.

After the construction of the Don – Volga Channel, which is 100 km long (1952), the huge water channels, connecting the Black Sea to Hazar Sea, Baltik Sea and White Sea has been completed.
