The length of the
river that is born from the north of East Anatolia is 435 km. It comes from the north side
of Bingol Mountains. It is collected in the deep area between the Karagol Mountain, which
is in the south of Erzurum, Palandoken, Yildirim, Sahvelet, Nalbant, Sakaltutan, Akdag,
and Cakmak Mountains after taking the river arms that come from these mountains. It takes
a little river arm also at Aras Igdir Plain in spring season. It reaches to the Caspian
Sea by flowing in front of Mugan, which is at south-east of Caucasus, after passing
through the boundaries of Turkey. |
