He is a famous poet.
He was born in Uskup in 1884, and where completed his primary and secondary education.
First, he went to Istanbul and then to Paris, in 1903 and studied Political Science. He
was interested in history. He lived in Paris until 1912. He was interested in literature
and he returned to Istanbul and started to write literary works. He became a name with the
language he used and the words he had chosen. He lectured on History of Western
Literature, History of Turkish Literature and History of Civilisation between 1915 and
1923.
He joined the negotiations of Treaty
of Lausanne as a consultant. He elected Urfa deputy, in 1923. In 1929, he was appointed as
the Ambassador of Warsaw. Later, he was elected the Tekirdag deputy. |
