Musa Chelebi was one of the sons of Sultan Yildirim Bayezid. He became the Commander of Raiders in Rumelia. He joined to Ankara War with his brothers. But, Timur had slaved him with his father. Sultan Bayezid died in Aksehir and Musa Chelebi brought his father’s body to Bursa. Later, he fought against Isa Chelebi. As he lost the war, he took refuge to Yakub Bey the leader of the Germiyanoglu State and later to Karamanogullari State where he signed an agreement with his brother Mehmed Chelebi against their other brother Suleyman Chelebi. Musa Chelebi went to Wallachia. He defeated the Governor of Roumelia in Yanbolu with the assistance of Wallachian, Serbian and Bulgarian forces. As a result of this action Suleyman Chelebi defeated Musa in Haskoy and he escaped to Wallachia and stayed there for a while. By his reorganised army he defeated King Lazar of Serbia and entered Edirne where he killed his brother Suleyman Chelebi. He declared himself as the only Ottoman sultan in Roumelia and minted coins in his name. He appointed Ibrahim Pasha as his grand vizier. He renovated the agreement signed with Venice. He made an expedition to Serbia and defeated Stephan Lazaroevich and invaded Nova Brado. He had defeated the Bulgarian Prince, as well. He had a war with brother Mehmed Chelebi and he lost it. Musa Chelebi was caught and was taken to Mehmed Chelebi. On 5^th July 1413, he was killed.
