His real name was Mahmud. He was an Ottoman mathematician and astronomer lived in 16^th century. His grand father was famous scientist Ali Kuscu. He was born in Istanbul. He was the tutor of Shahzadah Bayezid.

Later, he was appointed as the Chief Military Judge of Anatolia. He explained Ulubey ‘s Zeyc in Persian language. Besides this he explained Ali Kuscu’s work about astronomy called Fethiye. He wrote eight works about mathematics and astronomy.
