KOSE MIHAL (GHAZI MIHAL)

Kose Mihal was the prince of the Byzantine Castle named Harmankaya located on the foothills of the Uludag Mountain. Later, he had converted to Islam and served the Ottoman State. Because of his bravery he was usually called as “Mihal Ghazi”(veteran). His sons and grandsons became important characters for the Ottoman history, as well.
