Henry III was the son of French King Henry
II and he was born in 1551. He had the title of Duc D’anjou when he was prince. His fame
increased as a result of the rumours about victories that he gained. He became the King of
Poland after the death of Sigismund Auguste. But, Henry III learned the death of his
brother and returned to France, and he ascended to the throne. People never loved the
king; as he behaved like a woman, with his thin body. He tortured the Protestants. He had
difficulties times the Catholic Revolt. The King of Navaro came to help Henry III. While
he was defending Paris, he was killed by a priest, in 1589. |
