HUSAMEDDIN PASHA

He was a governor and Commander of Navy. He was grown in the dockyard. He was appointed to be the director of the dockyard. He was taken from this mission and appointed as governor, in 1668. One year later, he was given vizier ranak and became the Commander of the Ottoman Navy.

He fought with England in the Cesme event He brought the Ottoman Navy to Cesme Harbour without listening the warning of Hasan Pasha. Ottoman ships could not have been moved in this small harbour. English Admiral Elphinstone burned the Ottoman ships by closing the entrance of the harbour. Husameddin Pasha went to Sakiz Island and came to Izmir. He was dismissed from his duty in 1770.
