Aksemseddin was born in 1390 in Goynuk. He was the scholar of Fatih Sultan Mehmet (Mehmet the Conquerer). Aksemseddin was very skilled in science and arts as a child. He had medrese education and became a very important scholar.

Aksemseddin was very intelligent and hardworking, he trained many students. He made a name in theology, medicine, astronomy, biology and mathematics.

He was the most important and famous scholar of his time and he was attended to be the scholar of Fatih Sultan Mehmet. During the invasion of Istanbul, he encouraged Fatih and gave young padisah important advises.

Aksemseddin died in 1498 in Goynuk, where he was born.
