He was one of the arm men of Osman Ghazi. His family’s history goes back to the Anatolian Seljuks. Akcakoca was the leader of his clan and he was in sevice of Ertugrul Ghazi. He invaded the region of Sakarya and Izmit. In 1326 he invaded Aydos and Samandıra Castles. Samandıra was given him as a property. After the invasion of Izmit he died in 1328. His son and grandson served the Ottoman’s as well.
