Abdurrahman Gazi was a very famous commander. In the first years of Ottoman Reign, he proved himself with many military successes. He became a name especially in Ertugrul Ghazi’s (father of Osman I) period. He was also one of the best commanders of both Osman and Orhan Gazi as well. One of his most important military successes is the invasion of the Castle of Aydos. He died in 1329.
