Mehmed Emin Ali Pasha was born in Mercan, Istanbul in 1814. In 1814 he appointed to Divan-i Humayun as a clerk. In 1833 he began to work in the office of translation. In 1835 he joined the Ottoman Council as the second clerk, went to Vienna to congratulate the crowning of Ferdinand. In 1837 he went to Petersburg. In 1838 he became the first clerck of London Ambassador Resid Pasha. After the War of Kirim he represented the Ottoman Reign in Paris Conference and in March 30 1856 he singed the Paris Peace Treaty. He appointed the Minister of International Relations and Sadrazam many times. He died in September 7 1871. |
